Leslie Purvis

 

Leslie Purvis started teaching exam preparation and pre-licensing courses in 1984. She is the owner and director of Purvis Real Estate Training Institute which was started by Lynn Purvis & Dick Hartman. Over the last 20 years, she has written five exam preparation texts as well as the content for the Purvis pre-licensing and continuing education curriculum. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1978 and Texas Christian University in 1998. For 11 years, she taught real estate courses through the University of Texas at Arlington Department of Continuing Education. Presently, she is adjunct professor of real estate at Texas Christian University.

Tom Terrell

 
Tom Terrell is a licensed mortgage broker, licensed real estate broker, real estate education consultant, author, lecturer and expert witness for real estate lawsuits involving broker conduct. He is a founding member of the National Association of Mortgage Planners. He is Co-Owner of P.R.E.P.A.R.E. Real Estate, P.R.E.P.A.R.E. Mortgage and Real Estate Education Consultants.

Terrell’s extensive experience as an instructor for pre-licensing and continuing education courses does more than just meet the instructor requirements established by the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending - Terrell makes sure you get all the necessary information to build a strong foundation for success!

 

Bobby Vise

 

Bobby Vise is a veteran real estate professional and highly successful real estate broker. As a TREC approved instructor since 1995, Bobby has exceeded the expectations of over 30,000 students. Bobby’s passion for real estate education shows daily in his focus on the classroom and his desire to help each student achieve their goals in real estate. Bobby is the Owner and Broker for VIP, Vise Investment Properties; offering a range of real estate services from sales and property management to brokerage and investment counseling. While Bobby values the opportunities his real estate career has afforded him, his first priority is to his family. He is a very proud father of three children, all who mange to keep him busy when he is not in the classroom.

Glenn Garoon
 

 

Glenn Garoon is Vice President of Acquisitions for Western Rim Property Services in Dallas. Previously, he was an appraiser in the litigation department of Tarrant Appraisal District and spent 20 years as a self-employed independent fee appraiser and market analyst performing appraisals, market studies, and business problem solutions.

Mr. Garoon is an MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute), a member of the CCIM Institute, a (general) certified appraiser, and licensed real estate broker. He serves as a past president of the Foundation Appraisers Coalition of Texas (FACT) and presently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Appraisal Foundation. For 12 years, he was adjunct professor of real estate at the University of Texas at Arlington, and currently holds that position at Texas Christian University. Mr. Garoon holds BA and MBA degrees.
