Leslie Purvis |
|
Leslie Purvis started teaching exam preparation courses in 1984. Since that time she has expanded. The Institute was started by Lynn Purvis & Dick Hartman and is now owned and operated by Leslie Purvis. She is the author of four exam preparation texts and recently completed a new text for the PSI exams.
She graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1978 and Texas Christian University in 1998. For 11 years, she taught real estate courses through the University of Texas at Arlington Department of Continuing Education. Presently, she is adjunct professor of real estate at Texas Christian University. |

Tom Terrell |

Tom Terrell is a licensed mortgage broker, licensed real estate broker, real estate education consultant, author, lecturer and expert witness for real estate lawsuits involving broker conduct. He is a founding member of the National Association of Mortgage Planners. He is Co-Owner of P.R.E.P.A.R.E. Real Estate, P.R.E.P.A.R.E. Mortgage and Real Estate Education Consultants.

Tom Dolan |
|
Tom Dolan is a real estate licensee and certified real estate instructor in both Texas and Florida. Dolan joined the staff of Purvis RETI in 2005 and specializes in teaching real estate MCE courses, with an emphasis on Oil & Gas 101 and Commercial Real Estate 101. He was instrumental in the development of Purvis RETI’s elective MCE courses for 2007 and 2008.
Dolan divides his time between teaching and renovating properties for resale. He has served on the Colleyville Planning and Zoning Commission and as Director of Training for the Charles B Wiggins School of Real Estate in Tampa. Dolan is active in the Colleyville Lions Club. Any free time he has is spent with his family and his horses. While he does not race any longer, he has six retired thoroughbreds that are thoroughly enjoying their retirement. |

Glenn Garoon |

Glenn Garoon is Vice President of Acquisitions for Western Rim Property Services in Dallas. Previously, he was an appraiser in the litigation department of Tarrant Appraisal District and spent 20 years as a self-employed independent fee appraiser and market analyst performing appraisals, market studies, and business problem solutions.
Mr. Garoon is an MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute), a member of the CCIM Institute, a (general) certified appraiser, and licensed real estate broker. He serves as a past president of the Foundation Appraisers Coalition of Texas (FACT) and presently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Appraisal Foundation. For 12 years, he was adjunct professor of real estate at the University of Texas at Arlington, and currently holds that position at Texas Christian University. Mr. Garoon holds BA and MBA degrees. |
