MCE Classroom Courses
  • Prior to each two year renewal of licensure, 15 hours of education must be completed, including 6 hours of legal topics. Each 15 MCE course is accredited by TREC for 6 hours of legal credit. PRETI offers MCE courses in 15-hour, 8-hour, 7-hour, 3-hour Ethics and 3-hour Legal Update segments. All 15-hour and 8-hour courses include the new TREC mandated 3-hour Ethics and 3-hour Legal Update training. Subjects for the courses are legal topics, changes in licensing requirements & regulations, updates on changes to the tax code relating to real estate, revision in promulgation contracts, and agency disclosure requirements.
