Part 2, a three day, 30 classroom hour course, will cover the following topics:
- Provides insight into state & federal laws and rules & regulations of the mortgage industry
- Instructs you on provisions of the Truth-in-Lending Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and the Deceptive Trade Practices Act
- Describes predatory lending practices
- Offers guidelines and regulations for Texas home equity lending
- Teaches you about Texas high-cost lending practices
- Includes 2 hours of training in mortgage ethics
